See the world from a Ghibli movie

Studio Ghibli Inc. is a Japanese animation film studio headquartered in Koganei, Tokyo. The studio is best known for its animated feature films and has also produced several short films, television commercials, and one television film. (Wikipedia)
For myself, Ghibli films have accompanied me since I was little until now I am 2x years old, I have watched some of Ghibli films and other Ghibli’s that are still on my must-watch list. I won’t give reviews or recommendations here now because most of the Ghibli films, IMO, all the Ghibli films I watched are always heartwarming and memorable.. so you are free to choose whichever one if you’re interested, and I believe you should watch those masterpieces.
What I want to talk about here is the aftereffect after I watched Ghibli films, almost all Ghibli films. How I saw the Ghibli film and how it made an effect and impact on my life.
Ghibli has a very unique charm, just like you like someone because he has (good) traits that you never find before in other people because he is so sincere, honest, and original.
1. The Art
Ghibli’s artistry is unparalleled. At the same time, you will see the elementary that you often find on normal days. Such as landscapes, houses, animals… The beauty in simplicity that we may not have time to enjoy when we return to grandma’s house in the hometown, or when we look up at the sky or see the garden in the backyard. Cause when that happens we may be complaining that there‘s no signal, or complaining the heat of the sun because it’s so hot, or rarely have time to play with your cat. Especially in titles like The Secret World of Arrietty, The Wind Rises, My Neighbor Totoro …Studio Ghibli is characterized by simple but amazing drawings, unlike some Japanese anime which have complex paintings of human characters. I think Studio Ghibli accentuates the background illustrations which are very pleasing our eyes. All of it is very aesthetically pleasing to watch.
Although Ghibli’s film is also full of amazing and dreamy things that we won’t find in the real world, the portrayal is very easy for us to accept. It simply becomes one of the most visually beautiful films I have ever seen. What do I feel when looking at the visual of Ghibli films …
I feel that beauty and extraordinary things can be conveyed from things that are shown in a very simple way.
This is why I really recommend you to watch the movie, you have to feel the visualization itself … simple illustrations but very beautiful and even more than enough, of course, to understand what I’m saying.
2. Moral Value
Studio Ghibli’s plot and storylines have always been beyond genius. Studio Ghibli produces films that are full of value, whether it’s values that blow you away or values that at least make you aware of the little things you’ve been neglecting every day. Their work attains a psychological richness that you don’t necessarily expect from an animated film. As I said earlier, visually it may be described simply but in the middle of the film, until the end of the story, you will realize that the film is very powerful.
Actually, at this point, I can’t explain one by one of the moral values that I get from each story. Because each of them has a different impression. But from the few that I remember, there is something that increases my awareness that —
this life is worthy of being grateful, how little that you get, you should continue to strive and give the best for yourself, and for the people you care about. Problems will come at any time, happen to anyone, but it is a process that we have to go through … you can stop for a moment to rest but never stop until you achieve what you expect in life. And, sometimes we have to really give up what we want because it’s not destined for us … move on, and we have to accept it gracefully. Because sincerity is much better than grudging.
Really, if you think that Ghibli films are aimed for children, I’m a little doubtful because there are so many real things in life in those movies, failure and misery, behind the beautiful illustrations sometimes Ghibli films have painful facts, even some of them contain illustrations that are too ironic and sadist for young children. But what’s so good about it… if we can learn from the storyline and the characters in it, we will give up the painful facts, and experience the valuable times of letting something go. Lessons about humanity and how people live life more wisely.
The experience of watching several Ghibli films has impressed me. Like listening to The Beatles and Muse songs that reminded me of the days when I was in elementary school. Studio Ghibli’s works will remind me how at this time I can learn to see beautiful things from very simple things. Even better, I took a lesson from it. I hope that I will continue to see the world from the Ghibli Movie.
Life is beautifully directed and written by God with complex yet simple meaning behind. We just have to see the beauty in it.
